CO26 get together and lunch |
There is to be an informal CO 26 get together and lunch at the Royal Lymington YC on Saturday 15th November at 12pm., as the Association is changing Class Captains, please let David Houlton tel: 01590 610762 or Jo Mooring Aldridge Tel: 01590-678212 know if you are able to attend.
Any ideas on events for the Association for 2009 would be most welcome, even if you cant make it to the RLYC please let David or Jo know if you have any ideas for events etc., you would like to see organised. |

The South West dinner held on 11 April 2008 at Holne was a great success with some 20 members and non-members enjoying good company and good eats. The 2009 event will be held at the same venue on Friday March 27th 2009. All members and guests will be welcome.

NEWSLETTER SEPTEMBER - POSTAGE
The October Newsletter was sent out last week Second Class Mail. I took the newsletter plus envelope to the local Post Office where it was weighed etc and told it needed a 2nd Class large stamp. The newsletter was posted on Thursday last and I have now discovered that a number of people from various parts of the UK are being charged postage due amounting to £1.24. I have formally complained to the Post Office and should receive a response within the next two weeks. I have asked for a refund of just under £200 to cover the postage due costs.
