SOLENT SPRING AND CROSS CHANNEL RALLY Cancelled
The meeting for the Solent Spring Rally is cancelled for Saturday 24 May. The plan was to meet at Shepards Wharf Cowes and to be all present by around 6pm. Berths for up to 12 boats had been provisionally booked for the night. A table had been booked at the Island Sailing Club for supper for 7 for 7.30pm for up to 30 people. The cost of red diesel will rise to more than £1 per litre from 1 November, according to a report by MBY.
Apparently
HM Revenue & Customs are still ironing out some of the details of the change and have still not yet made an official statement.

We are having a short Association Committee Meeting at the R Lym YC at 11.30 on Saturday 15 March. This will be followed by a Spring Contessa 26 Owners Lunch in the Royal Lymington for everyone who can make it whether local or not!
