CONTESSA 26 ASSOCIATION AGM AND ANNUAL DINNER The AGM and Annual Dinner is to take place in the Library of the Royal Lymington Yacht Club on the evening of Saturday 14 November 2009. If anyone requires accommodation please indicate on the application form which cam be downloaded below and we will see what can be arranged; this could either be in a local member's house or on one of the local boats. |

AUTUMN RALLY LYMINGTON - 5/6 September
A section of the Dan Bran Pontoon at Lymington has been booked for the night of 5/6 September.. The idea is that boats should assemble on the morning of 5 September. A fun race (white sails) will be organised that afternoon followed by supper in the Royal Lymington - cost about £14 per head. A table has been booked. |

Contessa 26 and 32 Rally at East Cowes 25/26th July 2009 Jeremy and Fiona Rogers sailed their Contessa 32 Gigi with Carolyn Rogers, and Jo Mooring Aldridge sailed her Contessa 26 Sulali with Carolyn Brown (who reads the Shipping Forecast and News on BBC Radio 4)

Richard Clifford meets Sebastian Smith aboard Contessa 26, Shamaal II.
Richard was the very first owner of Shamaal II, and in 1974 he broke an OSTAR record when he sailed her single-handed across the Atlantic; then he made the return trip alone during the same summer. He later went on to race her round Britain in the double-handed event. |
