Mainsail reefing, convert roller to slab? - 2008/07/05 19:41
Can anyone suggest what I need to convert from boom roller reefing to slab reefing? My mainsail has the necessary cringles for 2 reefs but the spars are the original unmodified with a claw. I'm guessing two lengths of line and various cheek blocks, something to attach the kicker to the boom ....
Is it worth running the lines back to the cockpit? If so what else do I need?
