Water in rudder - 2010/03/26 08:26
Water is seeping out of one side of my rudder near the bottom. I brought the rudder home and drilled some small holes to let the water dribble out. After a few weeks propped over a radiator, the flow had almost stopped but not completely. I turned it over to dry the holes and filled with epoxy putty.
I gather that the rudder has a foam core and some water ingress is inevitable. Apart from frost damage forcing the GRP sides apart, should I be worried?
