Solent Spring & Cross Channel Rally Print E-mail

SOLENT SPRING AND CROSS CHANNEL RALLY Cancelled

 The meeting for the Solent Spring Rally is cancelled  for Saturday 24 May.  The plan was to meet at Shepards Wharf  Cowes and to be all present by around 6pm.  Berths for up to 12 boats had been provisionally booked for the night. A table had been booked at the Island Sailing Club for supper for 7 for 7.30pm for up to 30 people.

 

Please note this event is cancelled see you in the Autumn for the AGM and rally 

As this is the Bank Holiday weekend it was felt that the Cross Channel rally to Cherbourg should follow on immediately after the Cowes Rally. There will still be two days left of the Bank Holiday and those wishing to go can make a decision on the spot as to whether to go or not. - depending on weather etc.

Michael Lindsey has kindly agreed to act as co-ordinator for this event - so please let him know as soon as possible if you wish to attend the Rally at Cowes and if you intend to have a crack at the crossing the Channel.  He can be contacted at:
